Three Terrible Trins, by Dick King-Smith, is a good story that is very entertainable book. It was copy written in 1994. It is a fiction book about 3 twins and their new friend, Kevin.
First, I will tell you about Kevin. Kevin is a "cellarmouse", witch is the worst treated of all of the mouse clans. He was clumsy one day and a cat got him, but he got away (Im not telling you how he got away though), wich is how he met the trins. Next, the trins. They are a group of 3 twins that are called trins by their mother because trins means a bad word and the mice say 3 is a bad number. They always use teamwork and say "strength is unitity". Third Mrs. gray. Mrs. gray is the trins mother. She is a caring, loving mouse. Fourth, the farmer. The farmer is a mean man with a creepy glass eye. Last, the farmers wife. The farmers wife is very caring, and saves the mice from death everyday and calls them her "preeties".
The story takes place in the summer. It takes place inside the house: in the attic, in the cellar, and in the ups and downs area (there are 4 clans; ups, downs, attics, and cellarmice).
The major problem in the story is that there are 2 cats that always scare the mice. The white one named Walter and black one named Bertha, killed mice daily. The trins needed to stop this. So the major problem in Three Terrible Trins is trying to get the cats out of the house.
I would recommend this story to those who like mice. I would also recommend it to ages 7-12 because 1-6 may not understand it and 13-infinity probably will think it is not interesting. I recommend this book to all who like a mouse adventure book.
